My thoughts: I had already read the Harry Potter series before but I’ve been wanting to reread it for a while now and decided to give the audiobooks a try. I love the narrator and diving back into this world and reacquainting myself with these characters that are so very dear to me feels like finally coming home after a long time abroad.

My thoughts: This book was really hot (much like its cover suggests) and it was just what you can expect from a Whitney G.’s contemporary romance novella. The only expectations I had for this book were entertainment, steamy attraction between the main character and her love interest, humor and little conflict. It did not disappoint, hence the four star rating.

Overall, I feel very satisfied with the books I’ve read this month, though I do wish I could’ve further advanced on my TBR list. There are so many books I’d like to read before the end of the year!! But finals loom in the horizon, as sure as Christmas Day, and I can only hope to get at least 1 hour of reading daily. Thank god for audiobooks and traffic hehe.
November turned out to be great because I discovered so many new amazing authors I’ll sure be revisiting in the future: Laura Thalassa, Mindy McGinnis, Margaret Rogerson (wonderful debut but write a sequel, woman!), S. Jae-Jones (surely an auto-buy author for me in the future) and Alex Lidell (speechless).
Liddell’s way with words had me hooked on page one and wishing I was the heroine, somewhere in the middle of the ocean aboard a pirate-filled ship, around chapter 2. Her world-building and story telling boast a quality I had a long time without encountering which is why…

You had a great bookish month! I loved Air and Ash, An Enchantment of Ravens, and Rhapsodic. Air and Ash was really a great read. I’m so glad you read it and loved it. The next book is even more better. I hope you enjoy it too!
Hope you have a wonderful December! 🙂
